If you’ll check up at the top of the page, you’ll notice a new tab called CVS. This is a LONG post about how to shop at CVS to get the best deals, so I felt the need to leave it available at all times. This is how I get many items like toothpaste and razors totally free. It’s long, and it’s a bit complicated but I think it is well worth your time if you are really into this type of thing. If you have any questions about the information there please let me know.

Thanks, I don’t shop there often because I get most drugstore items I need at Wal-Mart, but I have to admit it sounds like a fun challenge to get things for free, and I like the idea of donating things you buy that you don’t need but get you other deals. Maybe you can also start a trading thread on this site where people can offer items to trade.
Also, I would like to trade coupons. For instance, I buy Yesterday’s News cat litter for my rabbit, and sometimes it comes with $7 worth of cat food coupons I can’t use, but it would be neat to be able to trade someone for $7 worth of coupons on something I’d buy!
Anyway, neat page. I will try it sometime!
Also, here’s the online circular if you’re like me and don’t get the paper.

You know Renee, I’ve thought of doing some sort of coupon swap, but I’m not sure the best way to go about it. I have several ideas, but don’t know what people would prefer. I’m going to think on it a bit and perhaps do a poll.
Do you happen to know if you can use ECB’s toward prescription drugs? Just curious! I’m gunna have to start checking out their flyers
I’d imagine it running similar to freecycle Yahoo groups – people post what’s available or what they want, other people contact them and make and offer (though in freecycle’s case, there’s no trading or selling), and then the original person posts when the transaction has been completed so people stop contacting them. Just an idea!
Good question Bethany. No, you cannot use them towards prescriptions.
You cannot use them to purchase gift cards either.
I think it may take a little time to completely get the knack to this, but I just want to say thanks for posting about cvs and coupons in general. I went to CVS yesterday and got:
4 sobe waters
4 colgate toothpastes
2 colgate 360 toothbrushes
1 softsoap body wash
for $4.66, but got back $5.49 in ecb
I actually made money! And that stuff would have cost $25 if I had just walked in with out a card or coupons.
I can’t wait until next week. Finally a hobby that makes money instead of costs money.
It’s great isn’t it? It does take a while to get the hang of it, but it becomes a fun little game.
