There are a lot of things going on on Saturday April 18th! If you have kids in Harrisonburg Little League it is opening day, and like us you might be there ALL day!
But, there’s other fun stuff going on too!
Kids Fishing Day at Silver Lake in Dayton is a free event open to kids age 15 and under. It runs from 10 am until 4 pm at the lake and there will be games and fun prizes.
The Musical Petting Zoo is also happening from 11 am until 1 pm and is the next stop for the Gus Bus Get On the Bus event! This event will be held at the Music Building Room 204 at JMU. Admission is $2 and all proceeds go to help the Gus Bus. Kids will learn about families of instruments music students will be there to teach kids how to use the different instruments.
The Village Closet spring consignment sale will be happening as well. This is a huge consignment sale that runs from 8 am until 5 pm. It will be held at the Simms building in Harrisonburg.
Our Community Place Plant sale will be held from 10 – 2 pm. Help raise money for OCP while enjoying some free food and live music.
So, there’s no excuse for not getting out there and having a good time this weekend!
