There are two things going on this Saturday that you might want to attend. From 9:00 am until 12:00 noon there will be a Spring Bike Rodeo for elementary and middle school children. There is no charge so bring your bike to Rocktown Trails at Hillandale Park and enjoy trail rides, an obstacle course and learn about bicycle safety. This event is being held by Harrisonburg Parks and Recreation and the activities are being provided by the Harrisonburg Police Department and the Shenandoah Valley Bicycle Coalition.
The second event is the WVPT Kids Book Festival. This event will be held from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at JMU. This event is open to children and their families and is always a lot of fun. There wil be free food and a free book for each child as well as tons of fun activites and characters from your favorite WVPT shows.
