Because I do so well in traditional grocery stores using coupons, I often forget about the treasures in discount stores. Today I stumbled upon one of those treasures that made me smack my forehead!
Dollar Tree carries bread!! I know, I know, you already knew that! I’m sure a lot of you were already aware of that fact and can’t believe I wasn’t. But…I wasn’t! I spent $2.74 on a loaf of the bread I like only to find the exact same bread in Dollar Tree for $1!!!!!! It’s perfectly fresh just like anywhere else. I was not the only person shocked by this though. Another couple was marveling over the bread while I was there. The cashier said they don’t always have it, and sometimes they have more than other times, but both stores get it.
Guess where I’ll be buying bread now.

My mom sometimes picks up super-cheap Pepperidge Farm bread from her local IGA.
