Windows 7 is available for pre-order. This is a pretty significant savings on both versions if you’re interested in making the switch. If anyone out there has tried the Beta or knows much about it I’d be interested to hear what you think. I really dislike Vista and I’m seriously considering ordering this if it isn’t going to be worse.

Jason loaded it on his home computer and really likes it. The buzz is that it is really going to blow Vista out of the water (it is going to have to if Microsoft is going to save face). Word is that it is more Mac-like!
Might have to risk it then because I just can’t stand Vista.
