JMU Faculty and Staff, and members of the local community are invited to enroll their children (ages 5 – 17) for string instrument lessons (violin, viola, cello,double bass) in the James Madison String Project. Lessons cost $40 per semester (10 weeks) for a 45 minute group lesson twice weekly (Monday’s and Wednesday’s).
Registration for new and returning students will occur on Wednesday, 09/02/09 from 4:30-5:30 pm in the auditorium of Anthony Seeger Hall on the JMU campus. Information will be provided regarding instrument rental at that time.
Classes begin on Monday, 09/07/09 as follows:
New Students – Monday’s and Wednesday’s 4:00-4:45 pm
Returning Students – Monday’s and Wednesday’s 5:00-5:45 pm
