Free Performance at Blackfriars Playhouse

by Emmy on February 14, 2010

I received this in my campus e-mail this afternoon!

“The MLitt/MFA program will present William Shakespeare’s tragedy “Titus Andronicus” on Monday and Tuesday, February 22 and 23, at 8:00pm at the Blackfriars Playhouse.

“Titus Andronicus” is directed by MFA director Brett Gann and stars MFA actors Brett Sullivan Santry as Titus Andronicus and Matthieu Chapman as Aaron the Moor.

Both performances are free and open to the public. No reservations necessary. Not recommended for children under 12.”

Since I have to read this play for a class this semester, I’m thinking it would be smart of me to attend one of these! Hope some other locals can get there as well!

I think I’m going to try to go to the Tuesday night performance if any locals want to meet up it could be fun!
