I’m a HUGE fan of the Kindle! I received a first generation Kindle as a “new to me” gift from a friend and then when I accidentally broke it, the same friend generously gave me a new one! I can’t stand reading large amounts of text on a computer screen so I wasn’t sure I would like the Kindle, but as soon as I tried the first one out I realized it was very different than reading something on a computer screen. It really is just like reading a book (without the paper of course) and I love being able to keep mine in my purse for whenever I’m standing in line or waiting somewhere.

Well Amazon has introduced a new lower price on the Kindle of $114. This Kindle will come with “Special Offers” which is essentially advertising. They’ve even created an app that will let you help decide on ads that will display. So, if you really want a Kindle and want to save a little money on the purchase this might be the way to go!
